"Pear-hills of Truffula Forest" - original painting by Dan May
THE CAT IS OUT OF THE HAT
The Grinch that Stole Christmas, Green Eggs and Ham, Horton Hears a Who, The Cat in The Hat and so many more. The lessons learned, the pages turned, the money we burned and for more he yearned. Many of our earliest memories of rhyming lead us back to the impeccable works of the great late Dr. Seuss (aka Theodor Seuss Geisel). One can only smile when thinking of the countless stories he produced that influenced us as children and that should continue to shape young minds for generations to come. To pay tribute to this incredible visionary we plan to LET THE CAT OUT OF THE HAT with a group art exhibition dedicated to all things Seuss. Top artists of our genre like Mark Ryden * Attaboy * Brad Burkhart * Brendan Sharkey * Brett Hess * Chris Reccardi * Dan May * Dan Quintana * Fawn Gehweiler * Greg "Craola" Simkins * Heather Watts * Jaclyn Presant * James Naccarato * Jasmine Worth * Jen Davis * Joe Ledbetter * Joe Vaux * Joey Remmers * Jophen Stein * Joshua P. Davis * Lola * Luke Chueh * Mark Covell * Naoto Hattori * Natalia Fabia * Nathan Spoor * Pizz * Sake * Sam Gambino * Sam Wellington * Stone * Thomas Han * Yumiko Kayukawa will present new original paintings for this Dr. Seuss
inspired theme.
m modern will also present the new official limited edition CAT IN THE HAT bronze sculpture from the Chase Group and unveil, for the first time at m modern, limited edition prints from The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss. These reproductions are all signed and numbered by the Dr. Seuss estate and many present the works of Dr. Seuss in a much different light than you might be accustomed to seeing. You may even have to cover your child’s eyes on occasion or explain a story that you were saving until they were a little older perhaps. These prints, on various media, are absolutely beautiful, of the utmost quality and always sell out fast. Be sure to pick one of these up if you get the opportunity and enjoy some Dr. Seuss artwork in the comfort of your own living space. These timeless images will most likely work with any type décor and will no doubt bring a smile to your face on a daily basis. So please join us for a very special evening.
